UIA Saginaw Office Relocates

Agency: Unemployment Insurance Agency

August 9, 2013 – The Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) will relocate its Saginaw office from 614 Johnson Street to the Vanguard Building, 4901 Towne Center Road, Suite 103. The Problem Resolution Office (PRO) will open for business in the new location on August 19, 2013. The current location will close permanently as of 4:00 p.m. on August 15, 2013.

The Saginaw office is one of UIA's 15 PROs around the state that provides in-person assistance for customers with problems with unemployment insurance claims. PROs also provide access to telephones and computers for customers to file their claim or access their online accounts. Most offices, including Saginaw, are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, except state holidays. For a list of other PRO locations, visit the UIA’s website at www.michigan.gov/uia.

In addition to visiting a PRO, customers may also view information about their claims or submit inquiries through their online claim web account. To register for an online claim web account, visit www.michigan.gov/uia and select “UIA Online Services for Unemployed Workers.
